The bourbon snobs will kill you for doing that. But, I agree DDP and any bourbon/Canadian whisky is a good go-to.
DDP and Diet Dew are definitely the two best diet drinks. The new Coke Zero is pretty good, too. Not sure how people drink Diet Coke out of the can/bottle. Tastes like battery acid.

"most" diet drinks taste "close" to the sweetness of natural sugar drinks.
after a few days drinking them you dont even notice a taste difference in that they are diet sweeteners
just stay the frick away from the "one" drinks, coke zero pepsi zero, pepsi one, they all taste like shite.
the straight up normal diet versions of diet coke, diet pepsi, diet DP, etc, those are pretty good
