Go outside. Get offline.

In the end, all that REALLY matters are family, friends, cold beer, and central air.

Enjoy those, but don't lose focus on how fked the world is. The truth is the world has ALWAYS been this fked... but the veil is lifting every day.

Just remember that even though it seems really bad now, the world has historically been a much more fricked place than it is now(generally speaking,) and it aint that bad right now. Just take care of your own, and try and be a positive influence on people.

Go to your local Walmart or buy a zebco rod and reel. Get you some hooks and some night crawlers or crickets. Rig it up cast it in a pond. If you don't catch anything no worries but there ain't much better than tight lines and bent rods.

Yes, but I keep in mind that this will not go on forever. I have read the last chapter of the Book.

What does Revelations say about what is happening now?

You are not alone. It depresses the hell out of me sometimes. I often feel like I'm in bizarro world and feel so disconnected from everything. It's like 95% of the population started drinking the kool-aid about 10 years ago and are blind to obvious truths all around them. I'm on an island.

So, you can't care less (i.e. don't give a shite) about things you can't control, yet you still felt the need to write an essay about it?

Nah, I just worry about myself and my family. Everything else can suck it.

I think the mid 70s to early 80s were more trying. I was just a kid, but remember my dad and grand-dad stressing over so many things going terribly wrong (inflation, stagflation, gas rationing, 18% mortgages, etc.).

Go camping, hiking, golfing, fishing. Just unplug from the constant bile that we're bombarded with...

Revelation is about what is to come. There are relevant passages in other books of the New Testament as to what is happening now.
