I support small business as well, but this statement is often incorrect. I've seen small businesses give back to their communities, and I've seen large corps as well. I've seen large corps give the finger to the community, as well as small businesses.

I've been involved in helping to secure 6 figure donations from large corporations. I've gotten tons of gift cards from small businsses. I've had small businesses tell me they can't afford to support the community, and large corps give me the run around as to why they can't support something.

It's hard for small businesses run by people of any color to get outside financing. My father needed money to start and expand a family businesses, he borrowed against his 401K and got the rest from the bank at 9 percent interest. Given that black people generally don't have as much money, this makes sense.

And here is the real problem. Businesses don't locate in NBR because there is no money to spend in NBR.

This is interesting. New media and millennials cause all sorts of new ideas to be considered. No reason that GoFundMe can'e be used provided they can collect payor information and assure it is all individuals.
