If trying to be healthy is shady af to you, there may have some trust issues going on.

Did a yoga instructor touch you somewhere when you were a child? Or maybe a weightlifter diddled you and you have suppressed it until now.

I joined a gym a few months ago for the first time in several years only because the company I worked for during that period had a workout facility on one of the floors of the building.

I forgot how weird a lot of gym regulars are. For the most part, it’s normal baws just getting some exercise, but there’s always the handful of dudes and chicks that take it to that awkward extreme: dressed to the tee like it’s gameday, mirror staring and flexing between sets, walking around with a jug of some supplement mix, and doing other weird shite that isn’t normal.

Everyone needs their third place after work and home.

Some people’s its a bar, golf course, gym, Barbor shop, whatever but you need a third place.

Most of the people I know who regularly work out seem shady AF.

You shouldn't, I can easily kill you with my bare hands.

In many cases there is certainly an extreme narcissistic vanity motivation there that can manifest itself in many emotionally dysfunctional ways.

This is most people who are religiously devoted to going to the gym.

Depends. If you know they go to the gym everyday does that mean they tell you everyday they went to the gym - if that's the case then yes, those people are weird.

What about the guy/girl that goes 6 days a week but doesn't publicize it on dear facebook - is that person also shady AF to you?
