If you're a fair skinned individual then its just stupid not to put on sunscreen. The data is pretty clear about what causes skin cancer and how you can prevent it.

Our motorhome spot is by two big trees. Plenty of shade and no use for sunscreen.

Absolutely, I actually will put it on if I'm going to do yard work or any outside activity. Skin cancer is real
