I have friends that live in the IBM building, Kress building, and the one above Mathernes.

B&T's, Roux House, and Happy's for music.
1913 and City Bar for Jersey Shore night club (i.e. fight club) scene
Huey's, Bald Eagle, River Room, for cocktails
Bengal Taproom for beer and food
Blend for wine
Azteca and Lava Cantina for Mexican food and booze
Hotel Indigo, Watermark, and Hilton all have great hotel bars
Casinos have bars and live music as well
Downtown Daiquiris has karaoke
There's a fair amount of variety.

Also, anywhere on 3rd street is a shite hole. I wouldn’t call any of those places where I’d drink, but to each his own I guess.
