re: Do you have to pay the red light enforcement program tickets?

I’ve gotten a bunch of those in Selmer, TN. Haven’t paid one yet. What can they do to ya? Can’t prove it’s you.

I've got a couple tickets from going through a tollway in Texas and Florida and never paid them.. I'm assuming it's the same with red light tickets.. they're hoping enough suckers send in money..

I actually went the entire distance on one of these just to see how it plays out.

I told the judge or arbitrator or whoever was running the show to show me the picture of me driving the vehicle and of course they could not. I told them how could they find me guilty with zero proof I was driving and they told me I’m liable b/c it was a vehicle registered to me and it eas a civil matter and not criminal.

Mississippi got this right. Traffic scamera company out of Phoenix put them up and proceeded to send tickets to everybody including cops, ambulances, and fire rescue. The public raised enough hell that state government ruled them unconstitutional and took them down.
