The word that you're looking for is disingenuous.
Yes, if a person realizes that they did wrong and apologizes, I appreciate that. I'll do the same if I realize that I'm in the wrong.

Yes. I do wrong things to people from time to time and apologizing goes a long way.
And since I'm not perfect I understand those around me are not perfect either. So I accept their apology without hard feelings.

If you have wronged someone and think you don't need to apologize, you are sorely mistaken. If you are any kind of a decent human being, that transgression will nag at your subconscious and make you feel like crap. A little humility is a beautiful thing for both parties.
