We have a shared google account that is used solely for household subscriptions, and to control the kids technology (signoffs and approvals, etc).
It is absolutely not anything cute. Just a basic google e-mail.
I'm pretty sure people with a "cute" joint email address are the same people who have a joint facebook... and that's cause one of them has a history of being a cheater...

I have a hotmail address with the wife that we created when we evacuated for Katrina. It's a combo of our first names lol. Still have it.

I made one of these because when we got married my wife literally had no idea how to pay a fricking bill. Still doesn't so that email is only checked by me and kept under control. Her email is over 50k in spam emails that drove me so mad one time that i cleared it for her. She still let it get out of hand. She wonders why we dont have a joint account.

Same. Made it easy for us both to keep track of invites, Registries and wedding related emails but it was pretty much abandoned after the wedding and used for junk mail accounts.

Emails are free. Not sure why anyone would need to do this unless it was for a business.

I use my joint email to sign up for our joint couples account on Facebook. I post all kinds of memes about trust and love on there too
