Dude, do you seriously think we have the entire world uncovered?

I guess in the age of the internet we like to think we know everything.

We aren't even close.

Kinda depends on how finely we wanna split hairs too. Oh look, this set of whales has split hairs, must be a subset of the other type so we'll call it a new species.

The majority of new species on Earth are freshwater fish and animals in caves.

That's not really how it works. There is a set of criteria that is used to determine what constitutes a species. It's definitely more strict than you seem to realize.

I saw some of those fish they found at the bottom of some deep arse lake in a cave. Looked like some big alien fish. I wonder if some of those cave explorer's would think twice about swimming around there now. Some of them were like 3 foot long.
