A psychic read my wife's palm in Jackson Square and told her about her future. Stoopid psychic couldn't see I wasn't going to pay for the lies. Stoopid psychics don't get paid

What do you think beliefs are?

Yes. Your mom predicted you'd be wasting time on this board instead of folding your camp clothes for next week hours ago.

Unlike an opinion, a belief is a conviction based on cultural or personal faith, morality, or values. Statements such as "Capital punishment is legalized murder" are often called "opinions" because they express viewpoints, but they are not based on facts or other evidence.
An opinion is a view or judgment formed about something, not necessarily based on fact or knowledge. Of course, they can be based on fact or knowledge, unlike a belief which is always acceptance without empirical evidence.

No
You're conflating faith with belief
Belief is simply acceptance that there is a high probability something is true.

Rodman Delancy is the best psychic.

Or any kind of mind reading or telekinetic powers? Anything from professor X powers to being able to see the future to more mundane types
Whether we believe it or not, both the DoD and the CIA trained, developed and employed remote viewers, to relatively moderate success rates.
Also, Edgar Cayce has a decent prediction success rate from "reading" the "Akashic records". Events closer in proximity to his life were more accurate, but oddly enough his disastrous predictions fall in line with disaster movie releases...especially Deep Impact and Armageddon...
So there doesn't really require any leap of faith to acknowledge the existence of "psychic" phenomenon, moreso to the practical exploitation with greater accuracy.

All collies are dogs but not all dogs are collies. Yes, a connotation for belief can include the word opinion but you seem to strictly conflate opinion with belief, which is much more commonly used within a religious context. Opinion is much more commonly used in a lay or scientific context.
The first definition of opinion in Merriam-Webster:
a : a view, judgment, or appraisal formed in the mind about a particular matter.
The first definition of belief in Merriam-Webster:
a : a state or habit of mind in which trust or confidence is placed in some person or thing.
Surely you see a difference.
