Depends on the situation. Trash? I don't.
But a couple weeks ago, a 33 year old dentist in our neighborhood died of cancer. Left behind 3 children under 5. The cancer made him unable to obtain significant life insurance. Its a bad situation.

You got that right. The 25-year-old with three kids from unknown fathers will post about the "struggle" constantly on social media.
On that note, I'm more empathetic to single moms that had one kid, learned from it, and became a responsible parent than those with multiple out of wedlock children.

Mostly no, due to the reasons they are single parents.
I've seen numerous women with multiple kids by multiple men.
Have zero sympathy for them. Would happily see them sterilized and their kids placed in orphanages or adopted by people who would give a shite.
Then they could be as worthless as they want without further diluting the gene pool.

I used to have my daughter on the weekends. I could skip a weekend here and there if I wanted as well. 3 years ago I met my ex wife in a parking lot to pick up our at the time 9 year old daughter. To my surprise my daughter had a suitcase and a laundry basket full of stuff with her. Her mom then said she lives with you now. I don't think people that know me have sympathy for me but they respect my situation.

Wait she really had a kid with your hubby? Please tell me you still weren't married at the time.
ETA: Or even worse you are still married to him!
