Exactly how stupid are you? What a dumbass. Typical ignorant question, what is your thought process to even think about that crap? Nope, not triggered, just giving you the dog head turned to the side look.

Since millennial's can't drive a stick it's getting hard for us X'ers to buy anything cool with a manual.
Millennials aren't worried about style, performance, or power.
All they're worried about is a 12in screen in the dash and heated seats so their vagina doesn't get cold.
The big thing now is assisted parking. The damn little idiots can't even parallel park a car.

Also we do need to get rid of social security but you’ve gotta pay the people who already paid in because it’s literally their money.
Cool, so millennials too.

I hope I live long enough to see Millennials reach their 60s. I’m just interested to see how they’ll handle it. My prediction is their suicide rate will skyrocket.

younger ones these days still can’t drive modern cars with a stick.

Modern cars suck; too much circuitry
Not a boomer(also Xennial/XY cusper) and as someone who works with all their own vehicles, I totally agree with this. I prefer the KISS philosophy. This is based on experience and the US Navy agrees with me.
All the extra shite and complication crowds the engine bay and cabin, makes diagnostics a lot harder unless you have very expensive and often proprietary diagnostic equipment(I had to pirate my service manual for my Mercedes), creates more potential for failure, often means the parts themselves are more expensive and complicated, Etc
It's a lot of bulshit for what amounts to a moderate gain. I guess that's 'progress'. One step forward and two steps back if you ask someone who does their own wrenching. For those who make it someone else's problem then I guess it's -
Enjoy being broke, though.

I am 65, I had classic cars when they were just ordinary used cars, 1969 GMC truck, 1973 Camaro, 1970 Malibu. Today's cars are better in every aspect, MPG is better, better brakes, better handling, more creature comforts, require much less maintenance, will usually gone 200K miles without major repairs. A car from the 60s,and 70s was worn out at 60K miles. The most important feature of today's cars vs "classic cars" are safety features. Odds of surviving a major accident in one of the cars of my youth was pretty low. I lost a number of friends to car accidents back then, had they been in one of today's cars they would still be here.
Amen. EA6B, where were you when I needed you in the Millenial Classic car thread? My sentiments exactly, plus significantly more HP/liter of displacement.
Bucky and Redbone going on and on about how they modded their 1970 muscle cars like Turetto and have more HP than stock. These guys are Boomers with buyer's remorse because they paid $85,000 for a lame assed death trap from 1972 at Barrett's because their brains were foggy from the hookers and blow the organizers brought in for the event. Newsflash, overpaying for a 50 year old muscle car won't magically augment your peen, it just shows how gullible and easily manipulated you are.
James Dean/Jayne Mansfield/Grace Kelly are still alive today if they were driving modern cars plus they'd be happier listening to their spotify over bluetooth and in comfort with killer AC. (RIP Paul)
ETA: I can drive a manual transmission but why when modern, efficient 7 and 8 speed automatics are faster and less problematic. Nobody in a car needs a manual anymore, most manufactures don't even sell them. Big Rig yes, Car no.

Absolutely amazing how many people just can't see a goof thread when it's created. Polit-ards get butthurt about EVERYTHING.

Classics last if you take care of them. Safety is up to the driver. A car doesn’t need “features”. It needs POWER, handling, style...

You can get certified used Lexus models for under $25k. No clue why the OT goes full retard about car prices. Basically your entire post is wrong
I recently bought a 2016 Toyota SR5 Tundra with 39k miles for $25k
