Isn't waiter pretty much gender neutral at this point?


I mean you mostly just hear the waiter or server will by shortly to take your order.

OMG Waitron was and probably still is used up in Yellowstone by us cooks. It is a combination of waiter/waitress and moron. We also called the tourist 'tourons', a combination of tourist and moron. Gapers was another name for tourist (mouth hanging open).
