Do any dry cleaners still automatically replace buttons?

I know my little small town dry cleaner (now closed) would not do it unless you asked, but I thought some of the better cleaners do it automatically.

Is there one in Shreveport that will? Pretty annoying to get a suit back with a slacks button gone.

I don't know, but the cleaner I used while on site in Beaumont managed to melt the shite out of every button on my pants, and didn't say a word about it. As you can see I'm still butt hurt about it.

Place off Perkins close to college does. Brought my jacket with a button missing, they replaced it when they cleaned it.

not Kean's in BR. They were overcharging me to begin with and constantly losing buttons on my shirts almost every trip there. Needless to say, I no longer go there

I drove their truck in college.

worst job ever. picking up dirty laundry from rich people. I don't think they do that anymore.

I had the same problems with Kean's switched to Sunshine Cleaners a couple of years ago and haven't had a shirt with a missing button since.

I used to own a dry cleaners and we did that(replace buttons,) we'd even go over the garments and trim any loose threads, fraying, etc., and resew buttons that even looked like they might start to come off

BTW: professionally laundering clothes is extremely harmful to the clothes due to the high temps used in drying and pressing, I'd suggest having your clothes laundered every other, or every third cleaning to prolong the life of your clothes

Yes, but the new buttons never match the originals.
