I'm picturing a lot of dke's getting sucker punched in the bar and then the following week a lot of the other guy's frat getting sucker punched and then the week after that a bunch of sucker punching and shite throwing both ways.

Stupid move, but this baw probably just wanted to show the future new boys that the next few months they'd be getting the shite beat out of them.

No. I personally know some genuinely very good people who were in a fraternity.

I'm saying that, in many cases, being in a fraternity keeps kids from growing up and they bring the problems associated with immaturity into the workplace.

Everybody disliked my comment about being afraid of black people, buts it's true. Due to the exclusive nature of "frat life" supported by mom and dad they have never worked shoulder to shoulder with someone of a different race. This creates problems on the job.

"Former fraternity member and current student."

So he is no longer part of the fraternity and is still a student, but he was upstairs?

I read that to mean he was also a former student, ie, not enrolled. Anyway, you're a member for life of most fraternities, unless they expel you for something, so calling him a former member is misleading.

Frat guys always crack me up.

It's like the room is fricking holy because they piled of y'all in there and made you drink straight whiskey until one guy blows another guy.

Then they kick both guys out for being gay.

Non-frat guys crack me up.

They seriously think this shite happens. They feel defensive for not being in a fraternity, which is weird, because who gives a shite. Then they perpetuate things like "buying friends" and guys doing gay shite together.

We had parties and got to eat at the house 3 times a day. Hazing is not what anyone thinks it is. We, at Ole Miss at least, had to be sober drivers, clean the house, show up early, occasionally chug some alcohol or smoke a bunch of weed (or both). Or full contact Red Rover in our suits, which was hilarious.

Caveat:

North and West coast fraternities are a totally different animal and in my experience are filled with tools.

That is my interpretation. Given his recent behavior, he doesnt impress me as the scholarly type, so he probably flunked out or dad made him drop from active status.

The Rho Alpha was a Delta Chi, not a Sig Ep, and he's an idiot for going upstairs. DKE always fricks with the losers and it's excellent entertainment.

Well seeing as that he pushed him twice..

Once
He was on a floor he knew good and well didn't have rushees.
With a phone flashlight on.
Other Roa Alphas said he had been snooping around other fraternities upper floors/chapter rooms all day.
Do you people still believe what you read in The Advocate?

He will be sued and probably forced into bankruptcy.

Dkes are active for life.

What fraternity was the Roa alpha in?

Theta Xi.
And instantly cried "I was just looking for PNM's (potential new members)" as soon as it happened.
He was snooping and got caught in an area he didn't belong is how I understood the article.
From what I was told he grabbed the wall and essentially ripped his pinky off.
Bad situation for the kid and the fraternity at this point from what I've been told

LSU would lose too much money. When I was active something around half of all donations come from Greek alumni.

More than 70% of contributions to LSU come from alums that were in the Greek system. These are contributions OTHER than to TAF.
