Suspend for in and around your house, and talstar granules to spread around your yard. Find a Pest Stop around your area, and they give handouts that tell you how often, etc...

I'm looking for recommendations too. I don't have open walls but these big roaches are out of control at my house. I usually see two or three each night.

Try some Bengal Roach spray. At about $13 per can, it is pretty pricey...but if you spray some around inside of your house, every damn bug there will stagger out of its hiding place and die before your very eyes.

We you say “outside perimeter”, are you spraying right next to the slab? If not, what distance away?

I do around all the windows in under the eaves of the roof, plus in all the weep holes where I have brick. I have seen black widows on our back fence, so that gets sprayed too.

Bengal. Spray it in any cracks or crevices. Under and behind all appliances. Under the sink.

If you are feeling industrious, pull all the switch plates and spray it in the walls.

This stuff is the best stuff I've ever used. Put it out once a year and you won't have any roaches at all.

Watch some YouTube videos on this stuff. It's like crack for roaches. They take it back to the nest and die. When the other roaches eat the dead one, it kills them too and so on.
