Cheaper to keep her. Now the state is her daddy. If you don't pay she runs to him and he beats yo arse and takes yo money.

How much CS do you pay each month? Buying food for kids can take up alot and if it is only a few hundred each month it won't stretch as far.

Yep, it's a no win situation for a divorced dad. You just have to suck it up and spend money on top of the child support.

It is what it is and it will be that way until the kid(s) reach 18. Just have to get your mind to accept that CS is out of your control.

She sounds like a great person/mom if she is willing to send yalls kid barefoot over a couple of dollars. I’m paying $600 a month for two boys and we split everything else down the middle.

600 a month aint shite. I pay 1700 a month just in daycare for my two kids.

How can 600$ a month cover anything for 2 boys

That’s like 2 toys and a marucci bat

Child support is based on income. I pay $1000/month for one kid, pay the health insurance, and split the co-pays. I buy my daughter stuff on the side, even though I'm not forced to. Shoes, clothes, electronics, books, etc. She was in private school when we divorced. Ex moved to another county and put our daughter in public school, even though I offered to pay for half of private school tuition. Meanwhile, my ex got a car in the divorce with no payment. She traded it in for a BMW X5 and bought a BMW convertible. I have no delusions of where the child support is going.

I have 4 kids. 2 with ex and 2 with current. $350 a week for child care for my two oldest. So technically it’s $2000 a month but who is counting.

You should probably know if she is going to spend the money on the kids or on herself. Is she pretty selfish to start with? Then you aren't going to be happy with how this plays out.

I pay a few thousand a month, not a few hundred. My first $55k pre-tax a year goes her direction.

She can spend it however she likes baw and there’s not a damned thing you can do about it. She doesn’t have to give you an itemization on where the money went.

This is true, but he also doesn't owe her another damn cent and should not feel guilty about it.

My buddies trashy as hell Ex drops his two boys off for their annual two weeks of summer with dad every year in old shoes, ratty shorts and a t-shirt. Doesn't even pack them a bag.

My buddy's ex became quite wealthy after their divorce (insurance settlement). She still made him pay his $1300/mo like clockwork even though he struggled to pay it.

She did a lot of other shady shite. Their daughter was a problem child so she sent her to a 50k/year boarding school out of state and somehow got it classified as a medical expense which he had agreed to pay half of. She then sued him for back child support for his half.

She lives in like an 800k house and drives a Mercedes. That woman is straight evil.

If you pay her the monthly obligation set by the court; you don’t owe her another fricking dollar.

She's not bad looking at all but you better make damn sure you don't get her pregnant.

She's probably mid 40s by now. Either way, no sex is worth a potential 18 years of misery to me anymore.

That’s $400 a month for food, $200 for clothes. That’s plenty for 2 kids.
