On July 12, 2015, scuba diver Christopher Le Cun survived an encounter with the nuclear power plant’s intake pipe system while exploring near Hutchinson Island, located off the coast of Martin and St. Lucie counties in Florida, according to WPTV-TV.

Guy was lucky there wasn't a turbine waiting to shred him. He somehow popped out in the plants reservoir.

St Lucie is a pwr plant. The water from the intake never comes into contact with the reactor.
I'm curious how he got around the condenser though.
It's true, the intake has a traveling water screen meant to catch twigs and fish. The diver is either lying or intentionally went around the screen.

There was a yellow buoy above water and from what he says no other markings besides that. You would think there would be more warning.
Yeah someone is lying.
Yeah someone is lying.

Diver is probably a foreign spy who was there to get intel on our nuclear plants.

Excuse me impeller blades. Assuming that a pump was being used to bring water into the reservoir.
