The park hopping and early park closing times were the two biggest deals when we were there a few months ago.
As for the wait times, did you actually wait that long? Disney is just guessing because they can't even do the red lanyard thing anymore. There's plenty of videos out there on youtube of people there right now in line for Avatar showing a 55 minute wait and them only waiting 20 minutes.
