Anyone else get the update that erased pretty much all of your saved DVR programs and fricked up everything else?

No but they often do that. I guess it's their way of keeping you from watching stuff that you saved years ago.
It's best to copy important shows to
DVD-r before it happens.

I miss the days when a firmware update required cracking open the case and changing out ROMs. Screw software updates, firmware updates... all of that is arse cancer.

I have a stand alone Panasonic DVD recorder. Had a Sony gx315 prior to that and it was trash.

I'd figure since ATT was part of it, any "firmware update" would end up requiring the customer to purchase some new equipment.
