DirectTV channels out

0Fox44 and NBC33 out on my Direct TV, they are together, so I would think it was a station issue. Anyone else know what is happening?

The thing with the satellites is that all of the channels are on different frequencies. For example you might have channel 1035, 1246, 1114 all on the same frequencie. If the satellite is not picking up this frequencie you will lose the feed from the stations.

That is true. Blocks of channels are on different transponders.
And if you people are losing signal because of rain, you need to have then come and realign your dish.
I can be in Tornado type storms and never lose signal.

Fox is still out for me. Thankfully I can watch the Saints on Sunday Ticket. I'll try rebooting the receiver after the game.
I've been very diapoointed with DirecTV. shite goes out even with any storm. I tried realigning it myself and having them come out and do it. My parents had directv when I was a kid, and it never went out. How did their tech get so much worse?
Still much better than Cox for sure, but I guess I'm gonna have to give UVerse a try.

It's a WVLA and WGMB issue. It doesn't work over the air either.

What kind of problems are they having and is it remotely reasonable to expect they will get them resolved any time soon? Really looking forward to the SNF game tonight, but I guess its looking doubtful I'm going to see it
