Did you drive over the metal on the interstate today in BR?

Authorities said a piece of metal fell off a truck and onto the interstate between Bluebonnet and Essen, popping the tires of any driver who went over it.
Fire crews and DOTD Motorist Assistance Patrol responded to help drivers stranded on the side of the interstate.
Baton Rouge Police said they're working to figure out where the rod came from or identify the truck it fell off of. If they do, they said the driver would be cited for having an unsecured load.
