The Mexican restaurant we go to has gone up some, but we've done pretty good finding cheap ways to keep it under $20. 2- small chicken nachos and 2- waters with lemon come to $14.99 and then we'll tip the waitress $5 in cash.

The damn drinks is where they make their money. If we both got a coke, it would be an extra $2.75 each. Water is better anyway.

I also quit buying 2l name brand Cokes at the store once they went above $2. Now they're like $2.75! Now when my wife wants 'diet coke', I'll get her diet cola store brand for $.99. I feel like diet coke is addictive because I notice people can quit regular sodas easily, but diet drinkers have a problem with it.

I jst wonder what sort of stuff they're feeding you for $5 that they are still making a profit....at this point, i feel ike we are just paying them to make us fat and give us cancer.
