We had a Cadillac Cafe in Birmingham ( on the south side) back in the 70’s and it was great. I moved away from the Ham in the 70s and wondered if they had re-opened.
Didn’t expect to elicit so many DVs over a question. /smh

If you couldn't get a "date" there, you weren't trying. There was a really hot bartender there back in the day like 1995 that could really mix your drink. She hated me....so I married her.

Celebrated my 21st bday there circa 2006. Left with a mid 40s real estate agent that drove us back to university house (where my 3 roommates were) in her convertible mustang (which I made her stop half way home to put the top down) and had a dandy evening together. She stopped halfway through for a smoke break. Pure class.
