After the flood, I bought a Samsung microwave/hood vent combo. The microwave, and not the hood vent, was the first of 4 Samsung appliances to fail within 5 years (washer, dryer, and refrigerator being the other 3).

F Samsung and their cheap arse chit. The one decent thing they perhaps still make is a cell phone. However, I got so pissed at the brand that when given the opportunity to upgrade my phone, I went to the proverbial dark side and got an iPhone.

I have a 1997 Kenmore fridge that’s still rolling. It might outlast my new Whirlpool fridge.

I had to replace one but only because I ripped the handle off while drunk and falling down just as I grabbed the handle.

Replacement going strong at 12 years. Have replaced the dishwasher twice and refrigerator once in that time.
