Crazy to think that it's been that long. Did anyone on the board know her personally? Or any of this other victims personally?

I lived in my hometown Arnaudville at the time. One of his victims was found just miles away in Grand Coteau. I remember how on edge everyone was.

That was a crazy time to be living in BR. I forget the name of the other serial killer, but some of you living in University Acres/Woodstone/Woodgate will probably remember that POS living in a house we all rode bikes by as a kid.

Burl Cain would always invite my family to the rodeo and one year we were allowed to tour death row. I’ll never forget the way DTL looked at the women in our group. Pure evil.

Didnt know her, but remember everyone being kind of freaked out at LSU at the time. At least the girls anyway.

I didn’t know her personally but I had mutual friends with both her (she went by Murray, I think) and Geralyn DeSoto.

When Geralyn was murdered, I remember that my friends who knew her were convinced it was her husband that did it. At the time she was killed, I don’t think they had announced that there was a serial killer yet. She didn’t get linked to DTL until later.

At the time this was all happening I lived with two other girls in a house in the garden district. I was fricking terrified all the time.

I know a nurse that used to work there. She said the same thing... and that solitary had driven him insane.

Yeah, that’s the guy. He lived in a house with his mother in the area of University Acres located closest to Lee Drive and I probably rode my bike by his house 100 times growing up.

I think we all thought it was her husband before they announced it was a serial killer

The Spotify podcast “Serial Killers” has two in depth episodes that tell you all you ever want to know about his life. It’s worth the listen if it’s your thing.

My son was friends with Pam Kinnamores boy. They were in cub scouts together. I remember when we got the news, we were all shocked and saddened for the family.

I initially thought that my son didn’t really realize what was happening. However, the next summer, my son was very reluctant to go to scout camp. The lasy had been killed while the boys were at camp the previous year and he didn’t want anything to happen to us while he was gone.

I dealt with him personally at SMPCC when he was housed there for hearings. He had dead eyes. He actually filed an inmate complaint against me, saying I treated him like an animal.

When our friends had night classes during that time, we would drive them to class and pick them up so they werent walking to their cars at night.

I felt sorry for guys driving around I think white trucks because thats what they thought the guy was driving
