This. Being in the office doesn’t equal productivity. So much wasted time. Most office workers sit in front of a computer, why does it matter where the chair is located?

When I’m in the office, the amount of wasted time on shite is amazing.

People have to commute during time they would have been working.

People have to stop and visit for an hour.

Instead of instantly going from one meeting to the next on teams, you need 5-10 minutes. And then 10 minutes of getting the screen to work and idle bullshiat.

And lunches with co workers instead of eating at your desk.

And pointless fricking company wide meetings instead of work.

And instead of people working until dinner, they bug the frick out to battle traffic and get kids. I can tell you during in-office weeks, the after core hours participation vs work from home weeks is dramatically different.

You easily get less productive hours from people in the office vs at home.

Not sure why so many here act like the year is 2004 instead of 2024. Work from home is fine for most office jobs.

More hours. Happier employees. Cheaper.
