That’s the problem, the poor quality food is cheap but getting more expensive but a pound of ground beef and 1 carton of eggs (when ethically sourced) can costs you 20 bucks

Yes and it's not even comparable.
You can still substitute a shake for the coke on meal things for no extra charge. I hit that place up every time I go into town.
