The natives were much better off in pretty much every standard of living statistic under colonial rule, especially in the Congo, Rhodesia, and South Africa. So no, I wouldn't put the majority of the blame on whites that brought them agriculture and industry. Before being colonized their entire economies were pretty much selling their own people into slavery to middle easterners and later on Euros and Americans.

I prefer Black Diamond Bay, but it was wiped out by a volcano. At least I’m not stuck inside of Mobile with the Memphis blues again.
