Civil war reenactments

I’m actually in agreement but not for the reasons you might think. The average reenactor is usually in his mid-50s and weighs over 200 lbs. The average Civil War soldier was 26 and he weighed something like 120 lbs soaking wet.

Watching modern reenactors waddle across open fields in a bayonet charge is among the most cringe things I have ever seen.

I remember watching the 2018 LSU/Bama game and being very excited. Gameday was there, the festivities seemed like a lot of fun. Then like an hour before the game they cut to Fehokos family doing the Haka and I remember thinking “oh we are about to get our arse beat”.

So, I’m with you.
that’s so stupid

Bama whoops our arse every year. The one year they didn’t we fielded the greatest college football team of all time and we still only beat them by a TD. Not even

ETA and my vote goes the Aggies too, and every weird tradition that comes with them

I feel the same about people doing the Haka as I do people wearing jerseys

Haka: Maori and the All Blacks own it. Everyone else looks fricking stupid.

Jerseys: kids and hot women own them. Grown men look like clowns wearing them.
