I like it so far. Obviously I've only had it a few months but no complaints.

I bought a 2017 Lariat with the 5.0. My cousin bought a 2017 XLT with the 2.7 Ecoboost. Honestly his truck seems as quick as mine when driving it and gets better mileage. The ecoboost gets a bad rap and maybe it's deserved but my dad has had one since 2011 with 115k and no issues.

Even it is upto 70$. Most of O&G have planned for next 3 years with 40$ as mind. The only thing that changes is the price at the pump. Shell is going to restructure lot of folks in next 6 weeks. Look out

The one I'm looking at also has the 5.0. Was also looking at a '15 5.0 with the Lariat package. They're both the same price but the Lariat has more miles. Not sure if I should go with the upgraded interior or the lower miles.

I wouldn't think there would be too much of a difference in one year. My cousin in the aforementioned post owns a mechanic shop and always tells me that years matter more than miles. In other words, as parts age they break more frequently. I think you should easily get 150k out of a naturally aspirated V8 with no problems.

I've been looking for that one thing that makes me decide between one or the other and I just don't see it yet

And I'm not sold on the EcoBoost just yet. I'd like to give it a few more years to see how they last.

My only experience is my dad's which is 7 years old with 115k. Honestly I usually don't keep them long enough for it to really matter. I kept my last one for 9 years but that was a record for me. My wife totalled 2 damn vehicles during said 9 years so it felt like I was constantly buying her one

I had an Expedition with the EcoBoost for work and it was really odd hearing turbos spool up in a full size SUV

Many companies are turning down work because they were forced to go so lean to survive and they don't currently have the personnel and stock to support the volume of work available.

I got one with the sync 3 8" touch screen, side steps and a spray in liner. Other than that it's pretty standard. It drives great and I never realized how useful a backup camera would be. My kids electric scooters would have been toast last night without that damn thing

I won't lie that I'm enjoying being back but the free housing, car and no taxes were awfully nice perks. I'm waiting for AsiaPac to pick up and maybe jump there.
