I remember after Hurricane Rita and Katrina how many F250s and dump trailers could be had for cheap. All of the overnight contractors though that work would last forever and bought all new equipment.
that's the downfall of every would be "entrepreneur," someone says everything will be tax deductible and overnight they've got more debt than the new business will ever see as income

Are always surrounded by a shite ton of excuses on why they are high. Too cold, too hot, too dry, too wet...

They dynamics in the two oil threads are hilarious...it's one crowd (who work in the oil industry and are like ohhhhh nozzzzz)...then another group that is like (sweet yeah I freaking love cheap gas)

I told myself to wait for 2015 to buy that houseboat. So I bought a 18ft aluminum with a 50 Merc used for 500 bucks. Damm fine fishing rig for Kentucky Lake. I've been in the up and down cycles for 20+ years now. The houseboat can wait.

I love the annual crawfishing by the crawfish industry about the prices and annual crop

This year it will be oil and gas prices plus the warm December but cold January, then high water in March, the drought we're going to have in April.

I'm indifferent.
$30-$50 more spent on gas a week won't break me and I also build and/or flip houses so people with money buying is good for me.
On the other hand, one part of what my company does is manage repos for banks so people out of work just means more repo houses for me to manage and more people looking for a job willing to work for cheap.
It also won't affect anyone in my family at all as all of us are not tied to the O&G industry in any way.

good thing I'm not in the oil business anymore. people will have more money to buy nuts from me.

You also aren't in a city that lives and dies by the O&G industry.

Is this going to have a negative effect on Paige? Hopefully, she will have the quit-your-job-money Dr lined out before the ax falls.

a friend of mine in Laffy has been wealthily retired for years after doing that, of course it takes an insider at the bank

probably a correlation between blow jobs given by Paige and the oilfield job industry size

If you can keep it all together and get the right companies it is very profitable.

I sub my work out from national asset management companies that manage properties for all the large banks like Wells Fargo, Chase, and BoA.
