I'm excited to do it. I've really worked hard this spring. Lost 30 lbs since Jan 1.
I did 10K last Friday in 1:14:30, about 3 mins faster than my best time and the first time I had run in almost 2 weeks because of a sinus infection. I'm hoping I'll be a little more pumped on race day and can go for a better time.

Don't go HAM in the first mile, b/c you may actually run 1.5 miles simply running from side to side passing walkers, strollers, and group runners who wall off sections of the street.

There is a cannon. Not as loud since the starts are spread out.
