I have experienced this industry wide since Covid, nobody cares anymore. Everything changed.

They all outsource their call centers to people that can barely speak English. Amazon, FedEx, Sam's Club you name it. Besides that it's almost impossible to get past the automated call.

Update: For the couple posters who claimed the Ron R. Hwy location had an actual office that was open and Google was wrong, no--you were wrong. I went by to see. I knew trucks were still dispatched from there, but Google was correct. The office is permanently closed. It's locked and has multiple signs on the door stating they are closed and asking for customers to contact the national customer service number.
However, I spoke with 2 drivers outside. I explained the situation. One driver told me that someone screwed up because they shouldn't have taken my ffl package off the truck and it should be going out today. He was nice enough to give me their manager's local work number. She was able to quickly fix the issue. She said a mistake had been made. She said it should be on a truck today. She took the time to find my package, reload it on a later truck, and got it delivered!
I made sure to save her number.

Looks like we werent wrong. You went to UPS and got your issue fixed.
I dont know when they closed the office. I've shipped multiple items out of that place, its been a bit though. You had to use that office because the UPS stores wouldnt accept firearm related items. I wonder if the UPS stores changed their policies since they are individually owned.

They have an office there where you can ship/pick stuff up.
No, you were wrong. You cannot pick up and send items because their office is permanently closed.
I just happened to show up as the truck drivers were lining up their trucks and getting ready to drive away.
As far as how long the office has been closed, I'm not sure. One of the two drivers has worked there for a few months. He said it's been closed as long as he's worked there. He was originally out of Mississippi.
The manger who called me also asked that I please not give out her work number. I Googled it, as well, to see if it was listed as a published UPS number. It is not. I'll consider it my secret weapon for the next possible f-up.
