"There has not been a fatal crash involving a major U.S. airline since February 2009, making the past 15 years the safest in US history. But unfortunately, it seems that’s likely to change. There were about 300 accounts of near collisions involving commercial airlines in 2023, double the number of near misses from a decade before. Despite those shocking numbers, the FAA has implemented a shocking evaluation system for potential ATCs in an effort to “diversity” the ranks."

All you have to do is watch Biden's FAA pick's confirmation hearing and you'll not be surprised.

The video of that guy not knowing the answers to any of the questions was a nominee that withdrew his name after the hearing, don't know anything about who got approved...however, the problems addressed in the link go back several administrations
Floppy disk
No replacement parts
Workers qualified to repair aging out of work force
No observations over the oceans
Total mess

Why are they called near misses? Shouldn't they be near hits?

Must’ve been a private aviation jet because it came down really fast. I’m sure conspiracy theorists are calling at a rocket attack.
