Cost/Feasibility of replacing sod in Baton Rouge area right now?

I have a 1/3 acre lot and I wanna replace the sod in the front only. What would be the cost to rip up the current sod, ensure proper grade and then have new sod installed?

What kind of grass are you looking for? Usually best do lay new sod in spring, or so I've been told.

just look up a sod farm or two in your area...they are not doing much this time of year, so I am sure they would be willing to talk through all of this with you.

I got a quote last year for around 8 grand
