I've known it all my life, so yeah shouldnt have gotten yourself into the situation unless willing to walk away from your parents. you brought this on to them knowingly. They were clear from day one. Doesnt matter what your thoughts are on it, but you knew theirs. Cant force them to change because you want. Doesnt work that way, and put yourself in their shoes if your kids do something that contradicts your beliefs...knowingly.

My mom hates tattoos too. I'll hump the hell out of some hottie tatted up emo chick, but i'm not bringing her home. Even if she's white. Expectations have been set from day one, and unless I want to deal with drama the rest of my life i'm not poking the bear.

Sux for you man, but you brought it on yourself 100%. No "ands, ifs, or buts" about it.
