From my POV, don't limit yourself to just one gun and just one holster. Situations change, seasons changed. If you only have one gun, have two holsters at least.
Get something like an Aliengear IWB. Also, get a holster that covers just the barrel and trigger....make it a hard shell. This is for tossing in your vehicle or a booksack or something. You can carry in your pocket, but never, ever put in your pocket without something covering the trigger.
Lastly, plan on something else in case you don't, won't, or can't have the pistol. Check your local laws. Carry a multi-use knife as a last resort.
