Comparing the COVID-19 situation to WWII and Pearl Harbor

I've heard this comparison a few times now and it pisses me off.
What do we have to do? Stay home and eat frozen pizza and watch netflix?
What sacrifices do we have to make? We can't get the brand of toilet paper we are used to wiping our arse with? We have to stand six feet away from one another while we shop for food in a grocery store?
