With the amount of money I spend at Lowe's I'm sure as hell not too proud to take the 10% discount. I look at it as taking away the taxes... and I only do it over a certain amount usually >$100.

In the last 4 years or so I've had 3 fairly large construction projects and probably spent >$20,000 between Lowe's and Home Depot. You're damn right I'll take the 10% discount they give me.

Same. I don't think I've ever used or asked about veterans discounts anywhere other than Lowe's and Home Depot.
