LINK - Cinemark

quote:

Cinemark’s balance sheet is also well-stocked, with nearly $490 million in cash at December’s end, and another $100 million in credit lines. Estimating its cash burn rate at $95 million, Handler figures Cinemark could go more than half a year without revenue “without having to go through any dramatic efforts to dig for additional capital.”

LINK - Delta

quote:

Delta Air Lines Inc. DAL, +21.01% warned in an 8K filing on Friday that second-quarter revenue will plunge 80%, or $10 billion, from the year-ago quarter as it burns through $50 million in cash per day because of coronavirus.

LINK - Olive Garden

quote:

With no sales at all, the company said its “cash burn rate” is $40 million to $50 million per week. On March 18, Lee said the company's off-premise business was up 20% year-over-year.

Scary stuff. I can only imagine what it is like for small business owners. Corona.
