I am not sure if this is all public school system or what, but I know there are some places where the teachers are given only a certain amount of copy paper a year and it goes pretty quick so the teachers are responsible for getting any paper they need beyond what they are given.

Yep, just bought my wife a case of copy paper and a copy machine for her room bc of this. Each class gets 1 case of paper for the year. So on test day she has 30 kids taking a test and 3 different classes taking that test on that day so that alone is 90 copies and one box of paper is provided for the year. Ridiculous.
