Common Decency Vs Pc Culture

I was raised to be decent. Just a good ole decent human being.
Treat people fair.
Show up on time.
Be respectful.
Pay my own way.
Always be thankful for help when I can't.
Don't be a deliberate arse.
Simple rules really, but they've kept me from coming into direct contact with the PC police.
I'm just a decent guy.
YOu ask me to call you Emily when you were Emil, I'll do my best to remember to call you Emily. That's just polite.
So, what's the difference between PC and CD as it applies in the real world (not at Evergreen College).
I'm still not checking my privilege.

PC is a bastardization of language to the point it conceals the truth.
Calling a cripple "handicapped" is common decency.

PC wants to FORCE people to be "nice" to each other. Common decency is something you willingly do.
At least to me, its not a shock that these people are most commonly secular individuals. Say what you want about growing up in church but if you can exclude the bible thumping stuff there's a lot of decent things I learned growing up in a church culture. Thank goodness it wasn't one of those extreme Westboro baptist type churches too.
These people are looking for a "moral foundation", and they're deeply confused as to what is good and fair, and what on the surface "feels right". Since they live in a world of moral relativism, its big chaos.

I would assume he is talking about hypocrisy and judgemental attitude that comes with a lot of churches. Which is crazy because neither one of those are core Christian ideals.
