Have a family member in Colorado Springs. Showed her this article. She told me that mall is basically esplanade mall or Cortana mall. Probably just a ploy for him to sell all his inventory and walk away with something.

It's amusing what passes for activism these days. Sitting in a long drive-thru line, smashing a coffee maker, boycotting shoes.
I assure you that Nike fully anticipated and doesn't give one single tiny shite about the "backlash". World-class troll job.

He's a dumb arse who isn't going "all in" on his shitty virtue signaling.
If he weren't transparently doing this for money, he would have donated all Nike gear to a local shelter and alerted the local news. Boom, local "hero".

Kind of an odd place for this. Colorado is a cess pool of Liberal pot heads. Those shite heads would throw urine bombs at opposing fans.
Know how I know you know nothing about Colorado Springs?

When emotion meets capitalism.

Two Air Force bases + an Army base + the Air Force Academy + NORAD = liberal cesspool
Got it.

FWIW, It’s the nicest enclosed shopping mall in the city - at 1.2 Million Sq. ft., and the city is huge. It’s also near a pretty nice area of town. Here’s an excerpt from a recent article:
quote:
In a 4-mile radius of the Chapel Hills Mall, northeast of Academy and Briargate boulevards, median household incomes are $69,750 and per capita incomes are $33,529, according to 2013 figures provided by Stoffel & Associates, an Irvine., Calif., retail consultant that based its findings on information compiled by Nielsen Inc., There also are about 35,000 households with annual incomes of $75,000 or more in the area.
I don’t think the Mall itself is going anywhere any time soon, although stores like the one in the OP probably will.

But you also have the poster hippieTiger.
That evens out those things you just posted.

She must be thinking of Citadel Mall, not Chapel Hill.

I thought he was in the Boulder Containment Area.

How in the world could you possibly know that?!!

Now that's a melt! He's burning his business down over a guy protesting police brutality

There’s probably a good business opportunity arbitraging Nike gear

Because he's a hippie. Duh.
In any case, I think Dragonman more than makes up for HippieTiger.

Yeah, Citadel fits his comparison for sure.

Should I be outraged about this outrage over the outrage?

He’s not attempting to cut Nike’s profits with the sale, he’s liquidating Nike products from his store permanently and will no longer purchase Nike items to sell in his store.
Thank you

But think of the one thousands of dollars of lost future revenue from this store! Where's the Nike foresight?
the store revenue will decrease but I bet his competitors love less competition for broncos jersies.

Nike already got their money from him when he purchased those goods wholesale. By selling them for half price, he's only cutting into his own profits, not Nike's.
But he's gotten 43 million dollars in buzz already

I'm pretty sure you can get the same deals at a nike outlet or Hibbert Sports type place.
