L O fricking L.

Look at the replies in this thread. The same people who want to wait to hear all the facts come out before they'll condemn the alleged perpetrator are tripping over themselves to be the first person to call this woman a whore and a slut.

So far the only thing that has come out is the details from the lawsuit that the guy is brining against Texas, and everyone here seems to believe those details while simultaneously dismissing the details of the lawsuit brought against the University of Tennessee.

I'll readily admit that the details of the lawsuit presented by the gentleman in the OP seem to clear him of any wrongdoing, but isn't that to be expected when you're the one suing?

Anyway, carry on with the idea that all women are whores and most rape accusations are false. Don't let me get in the way of your hypocritical circle jerk.

This is precisely the problem with these cases, people get black out drunk and in the moment are down to do just about anything. Then when they sober up and realize what they did are embarrassed or just don't think that their behavior is something they typically would do. I mean I can't tell you all the dumb shite I've done when drunk, never would have done the stuff sober, but understand that drunk me is a completely different person.
Yes, but the one thing this guy is in trouble for is that most universities Codes of Student Conduct state the consumption of alcohol makes one incapable of rendering consent.
quote:

S. Sexual Misconduct

Any sexual act or contact of a sexual nature that occurs, regardless of personal relationship, without the consent of the other person(s), or that occurs when the person(s) is unable to give consent or whose consent is coerced or obtained in a fraudulent manner. This includes, but is not limited to, video voyeurism, violence of a sexual nature, sexual abuse, unwanted sexual contact, and obtaining, posting or disclosure of intimate descriptions, photos or videos without express consent of the other individual;
LSU Code of Student Conduct 10.2 Behavioral Misconduct (S). Of course, by the "consumption of alcohol" standard, 98% of the entire student body is guilty of sexual misconduct.

Reason should prevail and whatever body is in charge of investigating this should consider the totality of events, not just that one time. I'm a faculty member at another SEC school and can tell you that arguing against the supporters of these agendas or even saying, "hey, this guy may be getting a raw deal, we ought to take a closer look at it," can get you in some serious trouble. In this crazy world we live in, the ones who run around preaching tolerance, diversity, fair-and-impartial consideration of the facts, etc., are far too often the ones most opposed to those things when someone disagrees with them, unfortunately.

But, yeah, this dude went from thinking he was "the man" for scoring a fmf to thinking he's permanently screwed. Sucks arse to be him, if he's innocent.

Glad I'm beyond that age now, but I'm nervous as hell for my son in a few years.

You mean the fact that the chick said he didn't rape her? That's a pretty big fact to clear the dude. I don't know about you, but that pretty much tells me he didn't rape her and her dad is in denial and over compensating for being a shite father.

But the woman he supposedly raped didn't formally accuse him—they remained friends and even flirted via text messages subsequent to the encounter.

quote:

Roe also contacted Doe, accusing him of taking advantage of her while she was unconscious. But Doe explained that she wasn't unconscious. Importantly, he explained that she had shared private information about herself—that she had appeared in pornographic films—during the encounter. This led Roe to concede that although she couldn't remember having sex with him, it "sounded passionate." She ceased accusing him, and even began exchanging flirtatious texts with him. On March 16 and 27, she even sent him sexy pictures of herself. They agreed to get together, though they never did.

What I don't understand is the timeline. There was three hours between him banging the chick that was conscious and the next one that allegedly wasn't. Did he frick the first one and they partied and then he fricked the allegedly passed out one? If they didn't keep drinking, it makes no sense.

So, this dude banged a chick, got drunker, and banged another chick. I remember those days.
