And know she's a judge, imagine that.If i was an attorney I would represent the family

I imagine there will be a plethora of lawyers lining up to get their names attached to this one.

No, you probably wouldn't. There are lots of lawyers in the Baton Rouge area who would take this case pro bono. But, they can't risk it since they have to try cases in Baton Rouge--many times in Janice Clark's courtroom.

Thankfully the Northshore, New Orleans, and Lafayette are just a hop skip and jump away.

I hear they have good lawyers too.

If that's true they aren't worth being an attorney.

er mother is just as bad as her. Do you REALLY think she will recuse herself? If I had to bet, half the reason she filed this lawsuit was to be in her mother's court.

Honest question here. How could her mother NOT recuse herself.....is there a conflict of interest clause or rule that a Judge cannot hear a case that their own daughter is involved in????

Reason Im asking is because I truly dont know. Is it just a suggested thing to do or is it required?

It;'s required. She will recuse. Those suggesting she won't aren't clueless.

Well from recent events, you can tell that the Clark's don't really get the term "conflict of interest".

LSU law professor Elizabeth Carter, who specializes in successions and trusts, has been closely following the dispute between Amar and the Plummer family. Looking over the typo-filled lawsuit Thursday evening, Carter said it was not a smart move for Amar to file it.

Southern law professor Dorothy Jackson would probably disagree

LMAO...this isn't A Time to Kill and Matthew McConaughey isn't walking through that door. That's just not how the real world works.
