It would be interesting to see who owns this building, and if the lease is still being paid.
It looks like this space was used by the COA last August for DSNAP registration. So I'm assuming they are paying the 8,300 payment per month. LINK

How many people showed up for crawfish that weren't seniors. Bet it was 50/50

50/50 is generous.
I'm thinking closer to 20% seniors and 80% other.

Well actually, it's scheduled for April 13, 2017 from 10 AM to 1 PM.
So, I guess you can go check it out.

Follow the money and the smell gets worse.
The COA should be investigated thoroughly by the EBR DA, but we know they won't.
The very fact that this corrupt organization was allowed to put a tax on the ballot under the guise it was to help the elderly is an indictment of EBR parish and our leadership beginning with Mayor Holden, the Parish Council, and onto out private leadership like BRAC and BRAF.
Instead of working to block a corrupt organization from getting 8 million dollars a year in tax money, they were trying to get a Tram started, they were blocking St. George, and worrying about Greenways and park Downtown.
This entire episode speaks to why we do not need to vote any more taxes for EBR until the mess is cleaned up.
