I just read that. It’s hilarious. Everyone was bitching on why they removing a traffic lane and adding bike lanes in the Heights. They did it anyway.

Now they looking at reversing everything they did. This was only completed a year or two ago.

I live in a small town and wish they’d collected and spent money on infrastructure sooner. Now the water infrastructure is outdated and needs to be replaced. Where’s the money gonna come from? Ain’t nobody gonna pay more in taxes.

Shreveport (R Mayor, D City Council) just raised our rates 10% because we’re ‘out of compliance with our bond obligations’ or something along those lines.
