Anyone bring Chromecast on trips and successfully get it to work on hotel TV?

No, but the Amazon Fire and Firestick will work when you have to enter a username and password in order to login to a network.

Easier move is to purchase the hdmi cord that connects from a laptop to the TV and stream content through your laptop to the TV.

I've done it a bunch. I even remembered to bring a few of them home
